December To Perth to rehearse with Janette McGinty on a short work for 600 Seconds at the Blue Room Theatre, Fringeworld, Perth. November WALK-MOVE-TALK - a weekend of walking with Simone Kenyon at Langdon Beck on the Pennine Way! October Working with Shabnam Shabazi on Body House as part of Chelsea Theatre's Sacred program doing projection design. Hot News! Awarded the City of Perth Taipei and Perth Artist Exchange for 2013. I will be off for a 2-month stay at the Taipei Artist Village next year! Very excited. September Started the month in Lisbon doing a workshop with João Fiadeiro and Fernanda Eugenia. Then London, Copenhagen and back to London again. August Impro and Feldenkrais sessions with Catherine Pinhorn and friends then off to Stockholm for 'Red Light Songs of Lust, Love and Death' at STOFF (Stockholm Fringe Festival)! July Collaborating with Brazilian choreographer/artist etc Marcela Levi (as well as Lucia Russo and Simone Kenyon) as part of Rio Occupation London! Then to PAF for the Summer University. June Working toward a little event at my sister's flat at the end of June and a short trip to Madrid to see friends and a festival! May More London! Rehearsing for a short performance at Chisenhale Dance on 1 June with Lucy Thane and Anita Konarska. Also working on something just for me... April London! Helping a friend remodel her warehouse for dancing. Heading to Wales to work with Rachel Sweeney and a group of great people. Thinking and dreaming. March In Perth. Following leads, planning projects, seeing work, writing applications. You name it, we've got it! February I'm heading to Adelaide to present myself to producers from around the world as part of the G'day Mate Program at the Australian Performing Arts Market. Excited! February 2012 Just returned from the United Kingdom and France. Making plans for new projects as well as continuing training, and even singing in a choir made up of artists from all disciplines. January 2012 Successful season of Eric Kuhlmann's Red Light Songs of Lust, Love and Death for the Midsumma Festival in Melbourne. The show, which I directed and choreographed, premiered at Feast Festival, Adelaide in November 2011. |
